Just another boring story of a woman trying to find her place in the world. She ended up selling Real Estate just when the market went upside down.
After moving seven times following her husband of 41 years around the Undited States and Canada for his carrer. She fianally did something for herself and enrolled in real estate school in Houston, Texas. After earning her Real Estate Licience in Texas, and having good sucess for a year, she and her husband decided to transfer back to California in 2005 to be close to their two grown son’s and families. Two grandsons were also a big draw back!
So then she finds herself having to take the Real Estate Liciencing Test over because you can’t use the Texas licience in California, their funny about that stuff. So she passed the test and received her licience for the State of California in 2006 and went to work for Prudential California Realty in Tracy, CA. All was well and she was learning the ways of California Real Estate, when she fell and broke her ankle, and had to stay off her foot for 6 weeks. Bummer! Any how she healed and went about trying to establish herself in Tracy, CA. Things were going along just fine except that the market was starting to get not so good.
She then found out via a phone call from her Dr. in late 2006, that after a routine mamogram, they found something strange, and could she come back in for another mamogram and a sonagram.? Well you know they don’t call you back unless there really is something strange going on with you boobs, and sure enough they told her she had the “big C”. So being the best patient this side of the Rocky’s she went through the treatment of Chemotherpy, and six weeks of radiation therpy. Real Estate was not the prime endevor for her at the time so she dedicated herself to making sure she did all the right things to become a survivor which she did and is now so far, so good is, Cancer Free, It’s been one year since all the fun and games began and ended.
And now she has been dedicating herself to making a go at Real Estate again, and is now in Manteca, CA, Purdential California Realty ( there’s another story about that) even though this new market and is “Not your Mother’s Real Estate Market” It now is more of and Adventure in Real Estate and every transaction has it’s own personallity per say. It makes her more dedicated to helping people find a home that thay are happy with and can enjoy living in for a long long time. She also can list your home for sale, but does not recommend that right now unless you absoulitly have too. She does REO, and Short Sales and would be glad to help anyone through the misfortune of selling their homes in this really crazy market.
